INDABA YOGA
This 4-session course over two weekends is for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with vinyasa yoga -whether you are brand new, coming back to the mat or looking to refine the foundations of your practice. Through the lens of the Jivamukti yoga method, we will explore how breath and movement, sound and intention come together in dynamic, accessible and heartfelt flow.
Each 90-minute session includes:
11th October, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
Grounding in Mountain /Tadasana, Warrior I and II, Triangle, Tree.
Find balance, alignment, and breath awareness.
12th October, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
Building support Warrior III , Cobra/ Bhujangasana, Bow/Dhanurasana, Camel/Ustrasana and gentle chest openers.
Opening with strength, not force.
18th October, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
Moving into Butterfly/ Baddha Konasana, and Janu Shirshasana and Seated forward fold/Paschimottanasana
Softening and releasing with presence and compassion
19th October, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
This final session will focus on Shoulder Stand, and Headstand/ Salamba Sirsasana, finding your variation and comfort level in these postures. We will then bring together the key elements we’ve explored over the two weekends and work through a full vinyasa practice that highlights how far you’ve come and where to grow next.
